Enhancements to Scheduler in Helper 7.5

back

Overlapping appointments
Handled the same familiar way as the Microsoft  Outlook Calendar. When  two appointments occupy the  same time, they’ll be displayed  half-width  and  next  to  each  other for easy reference

Display open times (in List View)
If there is open time between two sessions, users now have the option to display a line indicating how much  free  time  is  available. Users can set  the  minimum  amount  of  free  time  displayed (for example, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes).

Color-coded appointments
Previous Helper versions display appointments in preset colors. Helper 7.5 enables users to select  the color  an  appointment  is  displayed  in.  Users can designate color based on the service or category selected for the appointment, and can pick the color at multiple levels (one each in preferences, the service library and scheduler category library), and then the final color can be selected in the appointment itself.

Recurring appointments
Improves recurring  appointments by enhancing the recurring appointment  list screen to display more information, such as the procedure scheduled, therapist assigned to the procedure, and when it is scheduled as separate columns, enabling the list to be grouped and sorted.

Printing a schedule
Updates the printed schedule to include both completed session transactions as well as incomplete session appointments.

Save Day
When clicking Save Day, the user is presented with a dialog showing selection of therapists. This serves two purposes.  First, it prevents the user from accidentally saving the day by mistakenly clicking the Save Day button by showing the dialog as a form of confirmation. Second, it enables the user to save the day’s appointments for multiple therapists without having to save the day for all therapists.

Enhancements to Claims Processing in Helper 7.5

Claim Options
Previous Helper versions required users to enter a therapist's insurance identifiers in the therapist library, and then go to the insurance company library to select where those identifiers will be used. Now this can be done from the therapist library. Helper 7.5 also enables users to add an identifier and select all the locations and insurance companies the identifier will be used for.

Payer’s 2310B Requirements
Have you had an electronic claim rejected because the payer does not want the 2310B loop included in your claim?  Helper 7.5 features a report that shows why the 2310B is being included in your claim and what you can do to avoid it.
